accilium may process your personal data in their capacity as data controllers. We are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting your personal data, which is any information that is capable of identifying you as an individual person. This Recruitment Privacy Notice describes how we handle and protect your personal data in connection with accilum’s recruiting processes and programs.
This Privacy Notice only applies to the personal data of job applicants, potential candidates for employment, and our optional recruiting programs and events. It does not apply to our employees, contractors or clients, or other personal data that we collect for other purposes. Please refer to our General Privacy Notice for that matter.
Personal data we collect
If you apply for a job then we process your personal data to facilitate the entire job application procedure.
The types of personal data that we request from you and the ways that we process it are determined by the role you are applying for. The following personal data can be processed for the job application procedure:
- Any personal data that you provide through our job application form including, but not limited to your Full name, address, email address, contact information, work and educational history, achievements, and test results, phone number, picture, cover letter, résumé, curriculum vitae, transcripts of records, references, LinkedIn profile, Indeed profile and which job you have applied for.
- Statuses, notes, and planning related to your job application
- Email communications
Use of your personal data
We collect and use your personal data for recruitment purposes only.
If you apply for a job at accilium then we process your personal data to facilitate the entire job application procedure on the grounds of our legitimate interests for recruiting.
The following personal data can be processed for the job or recruiting event application:
- identifying and evaluating candidates for potential employment
- identifying and evaluating candidates for participation in recruiting events and recruiting programs
- analyzing your personal data or aggregated/pseudonymized data to improve our recruitment and hiring process
Your personal data will be accessed by recruiters and interviewers of accilium and its subsidiaries to fulfill these recruitment purposes. We employ no automated decision making in our recruitment process.
Under European data protection law we are required to inform you that withholding personal data in your job application can give you a disadvantage in comparison to other candidates who are applying for the same role.
Your personal data has to be processed by Linkedin and Indeed to allow for the ‘apply with Linkedin’ and ‘apply with Indeed’ functionalities. Linkedin and Indeed may use cookies. you can find their privacy policies on the following websites:

Data retention
If you accept an offer of employment by us, any relevant personal data collected during your pre-employment period will become part of your personnel records and will be retained in accordance with our employee privacy policy.
If we do not employ you, we may continue to retain your personal data for a period of 180 days after the date of submission of your application. 180 days after you submitted your application all related personal data will be deleted from our systems.
We may desire to retain your personal data for longer periods of time to consider you for future employment opportunities. If you elect to join a recruiting program or apply for a recruiting event, we may retain your personal data to consider you for future employment opportunities and for a period specific to that program.
In such an event, we will seek your consent to add you to our talent pool and specify the retention period if it exceeds our standard 180 days.
Your rights
We take reasonable steps that are designed to keep your personal data accurate, complete, and up-to-date for the purposes for which it is collected and used.
You can access, correct, erase, or restrict your data’s processing at any time.
Data Processors
Our online recruiting activities and our applicant tracking system is developed and hosted by Recruitee B.V., Johan Huizingalaan 763A, 1066 VH Amsterdam, The Netherlands (Data Processor).
Requests or questions
Feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding your personal data. You can also contact us with requests to exercise your rights under European data protection law. Such rights include the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and object.
Additionally, after successful submission of your application you will receive an auto-confirmation email with direct links to request a data correction or request to be deleted from our database.
